Get to know Fatima Babiker

Fatima is a 20 years old aspiring makeup artist. She comes from a Sudanese background and grew up in the Middle East. She is currently a Full-Time Biomedical Science student hoping to someday give back to her community. Fatima’s love of makeup and beauty started at a very young age and flourished through out the years. She believes that there is always space for growth and she aspires to use up every bit of it to constantly provide the best content possible.

When did your love of makeup begin?

When I was younger, I would always ask my mom to put on lipstick for me or line my eyes. However, like every other East African/Arab child, I was not allowed to wear makeup for the longest time at such a young age. When I reached my teens, I started watching beauty bloggers and YouTubers and that's when my love for makeup truly flourished!

What motivated you to do a Instagram makeup page?

Instagram is my favourite social media platform. It allows so much space for growth in the most creative ways and it is a great foundation to build myself and my passion on!

As the new year is getting closer, what is your goal for 2019?

Makeup is not only my passion but also my therapy. My goal for the upcoming year is to express myself within my art and continue to (hopefully) inspire folks to pursue what makes them happy.
